Dr. Ravage was recommended to me by a colleague when I was having a difficult recovery from retina surgery. His skill, knowledge, patience, and calm demeanor have made a big difference in my care ever since. Dr. Ravage helped me to navigate the timing of my ERM surgery and he did a fantastic job. Everyone on his staff is friendly and a pleasure to interact with; They all understand that empathy and kindness go a long way when a patient comes to them with concerns about his eyes. I recommend this surgeon and this practice wit... read more

Always an hour late to office visits. Never prepared. Never remembered who I was or took the time to review my chart.I was an established patient on his caseload, called him when I started having breakthrough seizures. He told me to come right in to the emu and instructed the er staff not to stop my seizures- that they would be down to get me. No one got me for over 6 hours. After one hour waiting in the er, I had 10 focal seizures before the attending stepped in and over rode his order and they finally gave me an emergency ... read more

I've had three visits with him, and he's been an hour late to two of them. Plus, every time we meet, he has to comment on how peculiar it is that I take both a capsule and a tablet, and I have to explain why it is the way it is. I have better things to do than wait around an exam room to be made to feel judged just because what works for me is a little unconventional and to not have him put in my chart why it is I take what I take.

Dr Huck saw me while I saw neuro docs at Rush. I was on a meds that knocked my salt and calcium levels down and made my low blood pressure low. Dr Huck noticed the low salt and insisted that I stop drinking so much fluid. Wrong response, Bruce!! Now, twenty years later, I am dealing with low blood pressure and MUST drink 12 to 14 cups of water per day. Why did you give me asinine advice? Why are doctors so loathe to acknowledge intense side effects of the medications? I hate the medical industry.

I was taken on time. I was in and out of the office in about 45 minutes, including dilating both eyes, scans, and the visit with Dr. Ravage.
