My son went to the er for severe burns. His bedside manner was horrendous and his treatment was terrible. He had significant burns on his face and when he asked about scaring he told him “you definitely won’t be as good looking as you were before this happened”. What the actual hell kind of statement is that to someone who is in significant pain, scared and worried about permanent scarring to their face? Awful.
