This is a poor excuse for a medical facility. I don t believe that the employees at this facility are even in the medical field. I went to urgent care for my 2 year old and we waited there for 3 1/2 hours and then doctor brought us in and gave my son fluids and a shot that isn t even administered anymore which I later found out from my pediatrician. My son was also prescribed medication that came in pill form and I researched it online and asked my pediatrician and found put that he is not suppose to even take this medicatio... read more
I just read the previous comments about the provider not giving that much attention, and Brian being great. I had taken my son in a couple weeks ago for a cut on his head. He was initially evaluated by Maria who was awesome. She interacted well with my son and helped keep him calm. Brian then evaluated his cut and decided he needed stitches. They put him on this little blue board which helped hold him down by strapping his arms in so he couldnt cause more damage. Brians interaction with him was amazing. He was so calm and un... read more
I was seen here a couple days ago, the dr was horrible he didnt care about any problems i was having. He brushed everything off and wouldnt even refill my seizure meds and gave me anti depressants that I dont need instead. I have a high copay and gave them my last dime and was told to drink some tea. I dont think you can just drink tea for irrtable bowl syndrome even though i said i had tried everything and im in excruciating pain he didnt not care he wrote a prescription that cost me \$287 and i called to get some thing che... read more
You get what you pay for here. Ive been here 4 times and have had different experiences each time. I dont have a problem visiting Kokas office for minor illnesses( need anti-biotics) or a stitch or two. The staff is hit and miss. Some are on the ball (hispanic gentleman w/ longer hair), and some are ditzy (Front desk girls). Hopefully you arrive and there is a maximum of 3 people waiting in the lobby, If theres more..Youre gonna be there a while unfortunately. If you want good health care, move out of NV.
I would not recommend going here! Not only did I wait for what seemed like an eternity; but the doctor I saw was rude, humiliating and not friendly in the least. I made a formal complaint and no one from this office even attempted to contact me. Whats worse is that I paid \$100 of my personal money to get seen by a person who humiliated me in front of my daughter. I would never go back here again.
I have never met dr. Koka. Probably he is a great doctor, I dont know. But I had the worst experience with his Office. His front desk clerk and billing person are either untrained, or not too bright. I cannot say that they should be fired, but I can say that they need to be sent back to school to learn how to do their job.
Dr. Govind Koka is one of the best in Las Vegas. He listend to me and went out of his way to make sure he understood how and what I was feeling
The saying is dont judge a book by its cover but even doctors cant seem to adhere to that with me. I have tattoos and a crazy beard which makes it really hard for me to be treated fairly from most. I can handle the every day schmo second guessing me but when a doctor does its really disheartening. Dr Koka never once used my looks against me while improving every aspect in my newly formed quality of life. If he doesnt care immensely about his patients than he could fool the best of us.
