I'm shocked he still has a medical license and hospitals work with him. He did surgery on my sister and didn't explain anything. When we asked questions, he answer was something along the lines of "that's just how it is". When she had issues post-surgery he was completely unreachable even after days of calling his office. His answering service never took messages, just kept picking up and hanging up. And my sister was sent home without any kind of pain meds, despite surgery, and has been in excruciating pain for days! I have been to Dr Gmyrek to get second opinions twice & am going a third. Respect his opinion. Willing to listen to patient & explore options. Would recommend. Plus my chiropractor (who I've seen for over 30 years & whom I trust completely) highly recommends Dr. G.
Trust Dr. completely. At his urging had a prostate biopsy after high PSA. He likes working with knowledgeable patient with smart questions. After much discussion I decided to do active surveillance, Doc had some reservations but agreed to the plan without trying to push any of the "big three" treatments on me. See him every six months for 5+ years. So far so good.
Do not go to this guy he treated me for 9 months for prostititis never did a urine or sperm culture is what you do with prostate Issues to determine what the infection is he had me on weeks months of antibiotics nothing worked finally went to another doctor in bergan county 1 sperm culture found out what I had gave me the correct antibiotoc on the road to recovery..DOUCH
Outstanding urologist. He listened to all of my questions and concerns, and answered in easy to understand terms. Very patient and very knowledgeable. Performed a procedure flawlessly and followed up with me personally. Dr. Gmyrek is highly recommended.
Hi, This is VINCENT BONO after to going to a good doctor back in June , he stated to me how can DR. Glenn Gmyrek come with diagnoise without any tests performed besides the PSA test, I said I have no clue he laughed and said OMG. He stated to me thats unreal anyway a surgery was performed after being missed Diagnoised by dr Glenn Gmyrek TWICE! had bladder surgery he made it worse now I have to use a self catherer and also wear an adult diaper he then performed a second procedure to correct the first and it is l still not right
