I used to love this clinic, especially when Dr. Cirillo was practicing here. However, since her departure, my experience has changed significantly. I was not informed that her replacement was an Advanced Practice Nurse rather than an MD, which I feel was misleading. When I expressed my concern, the office manager explained that they refer to her as “Doctor” because she holds a PhD. I have had more-than my fair share of doctors in mine and my families life. Not once in my years have I come across a care-taker as such as Dr. Cirilo. I have had difficult questions that I asked that she need not look to her computer or another source… because she knew the answers immediately off the top of her head. She always treated me kindly… not as many doctors do with condescension and/or, superiority. Although Dr. Cirilo and her nurse Edith are super good, dealing with her front office staff is horrible to the point we have changed providers. They have no empathy or etiquette when it comes to dealing with scheduling and questions. When my husband needed an after hospitalization, they couldn't get us scheduled in a timely manner-six weeks out.
