Dr. Hsu was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was seeking surgery for an old neck injury. He said I should not have the surgery as there was very little chance of improvement and some chance for worsening it. He was very nice and spent quite a bit of time with me discussing my condition. Dr. Hsu also told me of less than scrupulous doctors who would recommended the sugery
Dr. Hsu is a great surgeon! He removed my pit tumor about 10 yrs ago! I have had no problems!My tumor was the size of a lime and pushing on my optic nerve! I believe he cares about his patients, He performed my surgery on the weekend! Thank you Dr Hsu!
was very helpful with things that happend to me and did a wonderful job on the surgery i had in 02 when he put the shunt in. He made life a lot better for me. Thanx Dr Hsu
He knows his business. But has a very poor bed side manor. In fact only saw him once following surgery. There 5 days. Did not recommend any rehab. In fact just plain out told me I have done my part and I'm done talk to your general paractice Dr. for any more follow up. Wore brace for 6 mo. Once out of that tried to do some rehab and not able to in fact having pain in lower back and right butt cheek. Dr Hsu all but told me I would be able to return to work without restrictions. Dr.Hsu preformed my surgery that was very complicated. Three other Neurosurgons had turned me down and wouldn't attempt it. Dr. Hsu did a wonderful job and I have no pain and can now do things that I couldn't do for many years.
I would not recommend him to anyone. he messed me up and now I am disabled for life and then left without notice to me as a patient. I know others he has done the same thing to.
Dr. Hsu is an excellent surgeon. There are few in the field with the knowledge and skill he possesses. He also demonstrates concern for his patients and their health.
Dr. Hsu does not follow up on his surgery's that he preforms, he leaves it to his assistant to do everything. After surgery my husband never saw Dr. Hsu again only his assistant and 4 months later is still having problems. Reports don't get to your family doctor when you are told they will which in turn delays treatment for problems that my husband is having. I think he is very arrogant and rude.
