Dr. Lamas saved my life after I experienced Heart Failure in 2016 and almost died. After being misdiagnosed and mistreated at South Miami Hospital I switched to Dr. Lamas. He makes himself available to me 24/7. He is much more than just one of the best cardiologists in the USA, he takes responsibility for my overall health and as Chief of Medicine at Mt. Sinai he has every specialist at the hospital at his fingertips to refer you for immediate additional care.
Dr. Lamas's office is modern, comfortable, and clean. The staff is competent, pleasant, and friendly. Most of the time, except when Dr. Lamas had emergencies, my appointment was on schedule. When my appointment was over, I always left the office feeling that “I was under the care of the best Cardiologist I could have taken care of me. I have recommended Dr. Lamas to anyone asking me if I knew of a good Cardiologist.
I know that Dr. Lamas’s specialty is cardiology and at that his credentials and experience is incredible . His knowledge about the human body in general is also incredible. There has never been a conversation about other issues that I am not astounded at his knowledge.He is extremely kind and understanding. He always looks for a positive approach and does whatever it takes to find and convey one to me. Dr. Lamas is very thorough and experienced Doctor; he asks questions and answers your questions precisely. During your visit and afterwards you know you are in good hands.
Dr. Lamas takes as much time as necessary to explain and answer questions.

First consultation was eye-opening - Dr. Lamas combines a very modern approach emphasizing the patient’s intrinsic genetic make-up with old-fashioned intuitive sensibilities. Very impressive and confidence-inspiring.
