Dr. Bertiger always is willing to answer any questions that i have and has a wealth of information on both of my GI diseases. He is great with coming up with a plan for the next visit. I always leave the office knowing what i should be doing to make myself feel better with these autoimmune diseases.

Messed up my colonoscopy by sedating me himself.He was unable to sedate me and the procedure was incomplete. He suggested I come back the following week when an anesthesiologists was there. Really. Never did a thing in the year I saw him that was helpful. He had no grasp of his field or what he is doing. He refused to answer any questions. Always had his own agenda. Do not allow him to perform any procedure on you. Be careful.
My colonoscopy procedure was a disaster. Following the perforation of my colon I needed corrective surgery immediately. It was a foul up that gave me great discomfort.
I got the feeling that Dr. Bertiger was very impressed with himself. He didn't listen to my history or concerns, wasn't very helpful, and commented on things totally unrelated to my case.
