Would NOT give me an appt for a physical and my eye surgery has been DENIED! He evidently sent in a blank or unfinished consent paper. Now, I am getting blinder by the day. His staff was NO help at all. They didn't seem to be concerned AT ALL. They will NOT get back to me at all. My time is running out for surgery and I am very angry and vocal about it, IF I am ever able to see or function again, I will definitely find a new Dr. Not sure what heart surgery has to do with sleep disorders. Well, I AM losing sleep now worrying ... read more

My spouse would have died in his 'care' at Kindred Hospital Dayton after a major stroke, after 62 days in a local ICU. Spouse would have succumbed to undiagnosed or treated sepsis, pneumonia, e coli, candida and UTI. In and out in 60 seconds, on days he showed up. Never came within 4 feet of my spouse at Kindred. Petulant and demeaning to nurses, staff, his PA, and myself. Had to be discharged to MVH Neuro ICU, they immediately diagnosed and cured infections in 9 days. Transferred spouse to a different LTACH in Columbus afte... read more

My Dr. was supposedly moved to another office. I was seeing a Dr. for my aortic implant aftercare. It has been about 10 years, and I'm doing ok. Not sure WHY they suddenly sent me to him. Anyway, I was in and out within about 5/10 minutes. I WAS asked if anything was bothering me. It was the QUICKEST Dr.s appt I have EVER had. Still not sure if it was a good or bad experience..... I did not really have anything to talk to him about. Guess I'll worry about that NEXT time. If I have any problems I need addressed, and they are ... read more

My breathing doctor, Dr Yacoub, is the absolute best! He and his staff are very kind and caring about each and every one of the patients they see every day. They treat me with respect and truly listen to what I have going on. I love this Dr and his nurse...without them I would not have survived all that I have been through.

He seemed more interested in getting us out of there than he was in listening to my mother and what her needs are. Bedside manner is awful. Seems to think COPD is a death sentence and make no real effort to increase quality of life. Rather it is almost as if he wants to punish the person for getting COPD in the first place.

Very quick appt. but he helped me get a new CPAP machine where it took others 3 appts. or more and got nothing done. He was very helpful. His staff out front were average.

I have always found Dr Yacoub to be very caring. If you have to wait did you ever consider he has more than one patient, he is through and doesn’t need a long time to diagnose most situations because he is so well versed and experienced, he is not there to make friends but to give you competent diagnosis, . I have found him to be very caring even through he doesn’t spend time making friends. His nurse ask questions and fills him in before he sees you. That’s sufficient enough for me.

Horrible!! He gives you 3 minutes and after the first minute he’s heading toward door. Wait time is at least an hour, different staff every time. Called his office 4 times and no answer. Office answering machine still states they are open Friday’s... they are not. Definitely ISO a new provider. They money you pay for a specialist and this is the best they have to offer?
