If I could give no stars I would, he’s super rude and doesn’t explain anything to you. He didn’t remember sending my son for an ultrasound when I asked for results, very unprofessional.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy meeting with Dr. G at all. And the office seems to be all over the place. I’d you’re in Reno, there are other doctors that can perform surgeries locally. Always get a second opinion!

Dr Ganesan’s office is horrible with calling back to schedule an appointment. And when we had our appointment Dr Ganesan barely looked at our son and immediately said he couldn’t do the circumcision until he is 3-6 months old and that it would have to be done at the hospital and he would have to go under anesthesia. Dr Ganesan did not explain why he couldn’t perform the circumcision. And it was just in and out of our appointment. Dr. Ganesan was quick to diagnose my son with hypospadias and buried penis after only examining him for 10 seconds, maybe. He had us believe that surgery was necessary or there would be complications as he grew up. Surgery would be extensive, as well as recovery. We got a second opinion, in which we found out that the hypospadias is so minor it isn't an issue, and he's just a chubby boy, no buried penis. Just minor adhesions that will improve with time. No surgery required!

Good luck trying to schedule an appointment with his office staff. Twice I was told someone would call me back and they never did. The third time I was told it is incumbent to complete a form that they would email. Then someone would follow up to schedule the appointment. I never received the form nor any follow up call. This practice does not put patients first.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ganesan. My daughter unexpectedly needed surgery and we feel so blessed that we were referred to Dr. Ganesan. He was very thorough in explaining what was going to be done and at a level we could understand. He was extremely proactive in communication with our regular pediatrician and the various hospitals my daughter was at. We have never had to wait long for her appointments and his staff has been so easy to contact and work with. He is a very busy

Dr. George S. Ganesan is the most caring doctor we have ever known, we can't say enough wonderful things about him and Childrens Urology. He has taken care of our granddaughter Chrissy since birth and done her surgeries. He would even check in on her on his days off to make sure she was doing alright. Now she is older and he still takes the best care of her and to help her in anyway possible. If you want the best care for your baby or children Dr. Ganesan is the doctor we would highly recommend!

My 16 month old son just had his surgery for undecended testical and I'm extremely happy that I choose Dr. Ganesan to do the procedure. He is an amazing doctor. We are very happy with his work and how he cares. He walked us trough the whole procedure and made sure we understand exactly what was going to be done. He even drew a picture for us. He was well known at the hospital! All the nurses and a couple doctors had nothing but good things to say about Dr. Ganesan.
