My mom had an appt here today and she really liked Dr. Alkhouri. He was soft spoken but kind and listened to her concerns and addressed them. The office staff were all very friendly also.
0 stars. Charged me without treatment. I disputed and he never responded so he instead sent me to collections. I feel so terrible for ppl that have no other option than to go to doctors like these. It’s a shame. Golden valley in general is a terrible practice. Look elsewhere, please!
I vocalized that during my c section I could feel the pain and touch, not pressure but pain. He laughed it off and said it was just pressure and ignored my concerns. They got started and the whole time I was in pain, it wasn’t until my blood pressure dropped and I became unstable that they put me completely under. Worst experience. I had to wait 50 min. for Dr. Alkhouri and when he came into the room he pretty much did not talk at all to me just mildly gestured as to what he needed me to do. The whole time I was completely lost and didn't know what was happening. He put so much gel on me that my shirt and jeans were soaked and my husband thought I peed myself when I came home. So originally i had a different obgyn & last minute got Dr. Alkhouri. I was extremely nervous getting a new OB last minute but my baby was coming & Dr made sure to reassure me & he had the best bed side manner I’ve ever experienced. He was very calm, I gave birth to an 8lb 4oz baby boy & Dr.Alkhouri did not try to perform an episiotomy ( which is when a cut is made on your vagina to widen it to get the baby out ) he guided my baby out with no tears & was very supportive throughout my labor.
