Dr De Haan is an amazing consent and trauma informed, SAFE, and incredibly kind and compassionate gynecologist. They create a SAFE space for LGBTQA+ and for folks in larger bodies. Nervous as hell for my appt, Dr De Haan and their assistant were so kind, understanding, gentle, and did not make me feel rushed. They took the time to talk with me, hear my concerns, and had extrordinary bedside manner. I drove an hour across town because of the recommendation I received for Dr De Haan as a safe, trusted, HAES/ED informed OBGYN. I was not disappointed. I had to have a D&C for a very wanted and loved pregnancy that had miscarried. Dr. De Haan was available to get me in, despite not being a patient of theirs. Their bedside manner and professionalism made a sad situation less painful for me and my husband. I recommend them to anyone needing an OBGYN. Its clear that the nurses that work with this provider really respect and care for them as well, which speaks volumes.
