Dr Lalwani saved my life, literally. When I described the symptoms I was having she immediately diagnosed it as a 'small' stroke and it had damaged my right retina and she was amazed that i wasn't blinded. She obviously didn't use those exact words but that's the best I can do. This led me to see a vascular surgeon which led to a cardiologist which led to a CT scan. I have worked with Dr. Lalwani twice. Once for two tears in the retina of my right eye, and again when the retina in my left eye detached. Because of her quick action, she was able to repair the retina detachment before it detached completely. She got me into surgery within 24 hours, even though she had to cancel a morning's worth of patients to do so. She is decisive, direct and clear.
