The doctor didn't talk down to me, they explained things well and listened to my concerns.
Dr Nathanson explained my AFIB diagnosis and its implications for my overall well-being in relation to my medication. His clear explanations and responses to my questions helped ease my stress level as I learn about my new medical condition.

On time, asks appropriate questions and answers those questions in a manner that can be understood. Ids willing to discuss alternative approaches to a problem.
I Love Dr. Nathanson.. I come from Florida yearly to see him. Wish we had Doctor's like him in Bradenton, Sarasota.
Not good. Condescending. He minimized my concern for side effects to medication. I told him I had a medication reaction to one medication, he prescribed another one with the same ingredient! I had an even worse reaction. I called his office for help. No one called me back - I had to call again at the end of the day. I was told at that point to go to the walk -in clinic or the emergency room. I did wind up in the emergency room- they were helpful. He didn't even bother to call next day..
Seems extremely knowledgeable in his craft, but comes off rather short and doesn't exactly give you the sort of in depth details you would be hoping for considering cardiac diseases are so tricky.
