Dr. Van Deventer is a very patient, down-to-earth doctor. He saw my husband and I both last year when we had our first colonoscopies (in our 50s). We both connected with him and felt at ease with this not so fun procedure. I highly recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. VanDeventer for many years and he is absolutely the best. He listens, responds & if he doesn't have an immediate answer, he will research and get back to you. Even though no one enjoys a colonoscopy, you can be sure you will get the best, most professional care from Dr. VanDeventer.
the one lady at front desk is rude controlling bitch, interfers with accurate communications to Dr. she thinks she is king and the doctor

This is the worst facility ever, you cannot get a hold of the doctor and the front office staff are the rudest people imaginable. I called several times and the female front desk receptionist was extremely rude. I was hung up over 5 times and was told she didn't have time to answer my call. What kind of a business is this I wish I knew her name but she flately refused to give me her name, The office number I called was 805-563-0024. Save yourself and don't go to this doctor if they have such awful people working for them.
Let me just say that this business is in one of the safest areas around and you will be pleasantly surprised at how lovely the surroundings are. Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable. I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. The entire staff only had great things to say about working there, and it made me want to return all the more. They really go above and beyond to make me feel special.
