My grandaughter was one of his first patients when he came to Monroe....now my grand children and my great grandson see him He is totally the best of the best...we feel very fortunate he accedpted us as patients....
He saw my kids when they were younger. They are 30 and 26 years old now. He also sees all 5 of my grandkids. He is the best pediatrician around Very compassionate of his patients.

What has happened to this practice? It used to be the best place to go with children--now the staff is sloppy and inefficient, horrible waits for 3-4 hours. The office does not return calls, does not explain test results, forgets to call in prescriptions, and promises to get back to you, then doesn' t! We had a seriously ill child who had to wait 3 hrs past the appointment time, with a 102 fever! The staff promised to get info to us ( didn't), called with a serious lab result but no info???
We have been with Dr. M since my kids were born! He is the best around. Although the wait time is long, he is well worth the wait. He actually takes time with you and listens. Most Dr's today want to move you in and out, not Dr.M! If he feels like you need him after hours, he will give you his pager or mobile to call. I recommend him to everyone!
Wonderful pediatrician Dr. Maharajh and all the doctors at Center for Child & Adolescent Medicine are amazing. There is nothing bad I can say about this practice. We've been pleased since day one.
Maharajh Garnet D Md - Ctr For Child & Adolescent Med is the best! Dr. Maharajh is absolutely wonderful. When I had my first daughter, I was having trouble finding a pediatrician to take my insurance that was accepting new patients. He happened to be the pediatrician on call when my daughter was born, prematurely. He took care of her for her 4 days in the hospital and told me to follow up with him even though his practice wasn't accepting new patients. Maharajh is the BEST! There is no way to explain how smart this man is. For 5-6 years I went from doctor to doctor trying to get help and a diagnois for my son. ONE VISIT with Maharajh was all it took. He listened to me and my son and immediatly sent him to the right specialist. Honestly though he knows as much or more than the specialist. There is no cure for my son, but the symptoms can be treated and he is feeling much better. You'll never meet a kinder person.
Dr. Maharajh is the best pediatrician around. He has such a wonderful demeanor and both of my kids love him. In fact, the last time we were in there, my 6 year old son asked him to come to Outback with us afterwards! He never forgets that we as parents know our children best. He also has given me his pager, cell and home phone numbers in case I need him on the weekend or nights (my son has SEVERE allergies). I think he is the best and well worth the wait time when you see him!
