This doctor asks questions and then cuts the parent/guardian off before hearing an answer. She made our teens extremely uncomfortable with her behavior. She made assumptions about both of them, and it was clear that she hadn't read their charts. She was not at all helpful. By the end of our visit, we received our copay back and are awaiting a call from the office to schedule with another doctor.
My 5 year old son had a fever of 105 after attempting to reduce it with Tylenol and Motrin yet Dr. Costello wasn’t concerned. I told her I was going to take my son to the hospital and she said she wouldn’t approve it. That it wasn’t necessary. At this point he was convulsing. She still said no. See my insurance is correlated with approval from the doctor. Without her approval I would be responsible for the hospital bills.
