what a wonderful & caring doctor--my husband needed cataract surgery & was very worried about it--he did not want a quack doctor for his eyes of course--another eye doctor highly recommended dr. sosne--well both of my husband's eyes were just done--we both are so pleased--everything was done perfectly........
Dr. Sosne is the most compassionate, professional, attentive, and has made the difference in my traumatic eye care!!!
5 plus stars. Dr. Sosne was very professional and detailed. His knowledge of his field was very obvious and I felt confident in his diagnosis . His team was top notch also. From the person who answered the phone to the nurses who conducted the testing. I thank you.
I recently was referred to Dr Sosne for cataract surgery. After my exam, I had full confidence that this was the surgeon for me. The staff was knowledgeable and efficient. Dr Sosne explained my options, what was the best lenses for me. I had the recommended surgery and the results are amazing. I have worn eyeglasses all my life and am now have 20/20 vision distance without eyeglasses and only a small prescription for near vision. I am very happy with my experience!
Excellent service and staff is extremely courteous. His coordinator is fantastic and works so hard to help patients as much as possible in such a kind way. I disagree with the other reviews posted because I trust my eyes to Dr. Sosne and his staff more than any other physician. Highly recommend him!!
I do not recommend. He lied on my report saying I was not injured when I was. He was very rude and super expensive as well.
Horrible experience he was not patient or helpful in any way.
Thr dr was running over 2 hrs late. I was not made aware of this at any time during my visit. My eyes were dilated without my consent and I was not given the black out glasses in order to safely drive home. The Troy office does NOT carry Any glasses in the office, which I was not informed of when scheduling my appt. I now have to locate a local eyeglass place that I can take my prescription to that will accept my insurance. This was a huge inconvenience due to my many medical issues/mobility.
Went to Kresge eye institute and the technician could not measure my sight. Same story in another room with another machine. Then they said there was no change although they couldn't measure anything. Dr Sosne told me my eyes were too dry was why they couldn't tell me anything about my vision. I've had dry eyes for 30 years and seen ophthalmologists regularly and never had such an experience. Would not recommend this office to anyone.
