Did my cataracts over the summer. All went excellent. Staff both at office and surgical center are very good. This doctor is busy, but personal and professional treatment and relationship was first rate.
I am a physician and I had a very bad astigmatism with 20/200, 20/220 vision and was told during medical residency in around 2000 in San Antonio that I wouldn't likely ever be a candidate for LASER surgery. I saw Dr. McKnight in around 2003, he did the procedure, and I have had PERFECT results. He is reserved and very professional, and was very meticulous in doing the procedure, and his practice has the best equipment. The lady complaining waiting too long - I guarantee it was not MDs fault
Dr. McKnight was great at communication, listening and generally interested in my questions and concerns from a past cataract procedure somewhere else. The procedure was timely, painless and I left very satisfied with the experience.
After waiting over an hour and a half we finally left without being seen. No explaination from staff which leads me to believe this is normal. If I am scheduled at 2:30 do not want to be seen after 4:00 as a new patient first impressions are horrible.
