Full of him self. Does not let you talk .VERY UNPOFESSIAL. Told me that he would not attended my mother if I did not send her to a nursing home. My mother was not my child.That her time was up. she was only 64. I send her to a rehab. she thought she was a burden caused her a depression and few weeks later passed.
My mother, a 90+ year old with an infected leg wound, was referred to Dr. Casola by another doctor. She had seen another specialist to treat her wound but that doctor didn't think the leg was infected. I believe, without question, Dr. Casola saved my mother's leg. He spent whatever time was necessary to understand the facts, then suggested a course of treatment. She saw him 3 times. Her speedy healing truly amazed me. Dr. Casola I a breath of fresh air. He was honest, educational, fair and honorable. I am not sure what the others experienced but I experienced someone who has extensive knowledge about orthopedics and wound care, someone with 34 years of experience and all I can figure is that if the others didn't want to hear what he had to say then that was their loss. I agree with the other commentor that Dr. Casola has a very high opinion of himself and does not listed to the patient. He is definetly not concerned with the patient as a whole. Cut me off during mid sentence when I asked questions virtually every time. We also decided not to continue with him. I am a nurse and could not get over how unprofessional and uncaring he is. May be a good surgeon, but that is the only good comment I have. Horrible bedside manner.
If all doctors could be just like Dr Kunkle the world would be a better place caring polite and is the only one I would trust with my health.
Dr Casola Does not listen to the patient He has a very high opinion of himself but isn't as good as he thinks. I has chosen to discarge my self form his care.
Outstanding wound care over three year period. Dr. Casola and his staff were always professional, warm and friendly. Would recommend his team for all wound care in the Fort Myers/Bonita Springs area.
She's great - comfortable with kids, helpful, diligent
