I've enjoyed the innumerable conversations I've had with my patients over the years, developing relationships and learning about them and their families. Along the way, I always listen to their problems and figure out a way to get them feeling better. Outside of work, I keep busy by playing tennis, spending time with my lovely wife and raising our three kids although they grow up fast and our nest will soon be empty.

Dr. Sherman is very professional, from the beginning he recommended a diet that has helped me a lot with the discomfort I have in my stomach, during the endoscopy procedure he and all the Atlantic clinic staff were very attentive and we can feel the empathy they feel for the discomforts of patients. Took time to explain all the steps and followed up very closely to make sure everything was ok after my procedure.
Dr Sherman is very thorough, he will not stop until he finds the problem. I’m so very glad he’s my doctor, he is always so pleasant someone you can talk to he’s never in a rush. I truly love him as my doctor

It would have been very nice and professional if Dr. Sherman would have spend 3 minutes with the patient, I had a question!
Well, I have had at least 10 years of gastro problems, especially Irritable bowel syndrome C. So I have had a lot of test going back to 2011. So when Dr. Fredrick Sherman from Gastroenterology Associates of Florida, the very first thing he said to me was "I can't help you". Then he went back 10 years and told me I had 8 doctors that said the same thing. I tried to tell him that this is a different symptom, but when I said that he just laughed at me. What a horrible thing to do to a patient.
I was referred to 3 different GI doctors and I chose Dr. SHERMAN, only because he had an appointment that worked with my schedule. He was a pleasant surprise as he was thorough and likable. He had no "airs" like most doctors now-a-days and, he was patient. I felt very happy and comfortable with our interaction as he felt like a good, caring friend! THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT TO SEE DR. SHERMAN, HE CAME IN DIDN'T INTRODUCE HIMSELF AND ASKED "WHY ARE YOU HERE"? I SAID I NEED PILLS FOR MY REFLUX. THATS ALL HE LET ME SAY. HE TURNED AROUND VERY ABRUPTLY AND WENT STRAIGHT TO THE POINT OF SAYING, HE JUST SPOKE TO MY OTHER DOCTORS AND THERE'S NOTHING HE CAN GIVE ME, SINCE I HAVE MANY ALLERGIES, HE TOLD ME TO FIND SOMETHING OVER THE COUNTER AND FOLLOW UP WITH THE GASTROENTEROLOGIST THAT I SAW BEFORE HIM. Dr. Sherman is an exceptional physician, I am so glad to have been fortunate enough to be able to see him with my elderly mother. We both had an appt. back to back and everything went smoothly .
