Highly recommend Dr. Koch. Efficient, great sense of humor, very matter of fact surgeon. His Decatur office staff was great as well!
This doctor works for workers compensation. In my case i fell in a water meter vault that was left open and was covered with leaves. I fell flat on my left side unconscious and I woke up without feeling to my arms and legs. I couldn't get up. I played there until paramedics came and took me to the hospital. I couldn't remember my fall. I broke my left rib, hurt my left elbow, hurt my left knee, pinched a nerve on my left cervical spine, I have 6 bulging discs. C3-4,5,6 and 3 buging disc in my Lumbar. I found him to be caring and kind! I am getting ready to schedule surgery and feel very comfortable in his care!
Dr Koch is a no nonsense kind of surgeon. I received the best care for my back surgery. He is more focused on your needs than trying to build a buddy, buddy relationship. I was shocked to see how low the ratings were. The staff are also professional. I just don't get it.
I don’t know about these other reviews but I have been seeing Dr. Koch for over a year. He is great! Very informative and genuinely wants what is best for me. His office staff has always responded quickly to any calls or emails. I heard about him through a referral from a friend and I am so glad I listened to her advice.
