I am 7 months post pterygium removal surgery and I have nothing, but the best things to say about Dr. Michel and his staff. No one in my area was qualified to perform this surgery, but after much prayer, I found Dr. Michel and drove 3 plus hours for a consultation. His front office, nurses and administrators are so warm and friendly. Dr. Michel is intelligent and capable, but even more than that he is so patient and compassionate. Dr Michel and his staff are the best! He is very professional , knowledgeable and caring .He takes the time to explain everything he is doing and always making sure you are comfortable. I have had really bad vision since I was very young and through the years he has always been able to help me see my best. Naomi who will greet you when you walk in is just as caring and professional .I am so thankful for finding Dr. Michel. It is nice to know I can always count on him to help me see my future .
I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Franz Michel. I have now seen him twice regarding a pinguecula and pterygium that have been very concerning to me, and both times he has gone above and beyond. What stands out most is that Dr. Michel truly puts patient care before money. He has actually talked me out of surgery twice because he did not feel it was necessary at this time, while also taking the time to ease my fears and explain everything clearly. Dr. Michel did an outstanding job repairing our daughters eye after negative effects from previous, unsuccessful pterygium surgeries from another ophthalmologist. It has been several months since he performed her surgery and there is no sign of the pterygium returning and she has regained good mobility of her eye. He was very caring and thoughtful throughout the whole process. Thanks Dr. Michel!
