Very kind Dr.Not sure about these other comments here.I went to him with a complex case that another doctor had tried to fix and was unsuccessful. Dr. Battaglia was listen to my concerns and was very thorough before making a descision to perform surgery.He and his staff are not the most professional, but really nice and comforting. You may have to wait but he gives you the same attention as the other patients he was seeing before you.
The staff there are very nice, polite, and very helpful. Dr.B punctuality is horrible. I refuse to sit for 1 hour...if my appt is at 8 I want to be seen between 8 and 8:10. I am always there for at least 2 hours and only see the doctor for 5 minutes. You spend more time with the nurse than with him. I don't even know the sex of my baby...his response was I think probably it is a boy and he refuses to give me another one. He doesn't listen to his patients and doesn't even know a thing about me. Dr. B has delivered all of my babies and seen me through a lot of complications. he's funny and he respects my opinion as a patient and works with me to address all of my concerns. He's a good doctor.
I love br b he deliever both my kdis and will deliver my 3rd. i am very happy with how he deals with his patients. would recomment!!!
He's the only OBGYN I've ever seen with more hunting and fishing magazines in the office than women's magazines. Personal manner was okay, but it felt like there was a line the patient had to tow. It's a very christian office, which is fine if you're into that, but intrusive if you're not. He and staff made me uncomfortable, and I changed doctors in mid-pregnancy.
Very mean spirited and egotistical doctor. I am bumping into people all over the city who know him by reputation - and it is not a good one. His bedside manner qualifies as harassment.
Dr. B is a phenomenal doctor. I greatly respect his medical expertise. However his bedside manner is terrible. He is condescending, chauvinistic and arrogant. Go to him for the best medical care, do not expect empathy or encouragement.
Had been his patient for 3 years and on my 4 wk. postpartum visit after having my first child, he was so rude, probably having a bad day, and took it out on me. I was still in pain from episiotomy and was uncomfortable during exam so it was hard to be still. He threw his hands up after second attempt to examine, jumped up from his stool, and yelled "take a valium next time you come in here!!!" all while my 4 wk. old baby cried in his carseat on the floor. it was horrible! I've been going to Dr. B for probably 20 years and he is a great physician. I can't say enough good things about him, but probably the best thing I can say is that he saved my life. Because of his 'thoroughness', he found my bone cancer and made it possible for me to be writing this review 8 years later!
