Dentist just up and closed his practice after 40+ years. No real notice, had made appointments and didn’t forward ANY records of my child who had been going here for years. Ethically, this was an awful way to close his 40+ year old practice. Dr. Mendicino's practice is literally SOLD and they are gone like the wind. Terrible end to a long, long dental practice.

Worst experience with a dentist I have ever encountered in 50 years. Phoned them in advance to see if they were a United Healthcare in-network insurance provider, as I was looking for a dentist closer to home—they never called back after saying they would. Had to call back twice to get their answer. Was told by “Gina” that they accepted my insurance and that routine cleaning and x-rays were covered. Not a good dentist. I recently moved new to the area and needed a dentist for an urgent ugly tooth pain. This dentist took advantage of the situation. Do not rely on his judgement to treat your pain. He had me come in for three visits and the fourth visit was the actual treatment. He charged me though for each visit separetly. He is expensive. Make sure you discuss with him your insurance limits clearly upfront. I would not recommend his services to anyone. He did not provide me with proper consultation. He uses still very o... read more
