I had a six year long clinical relationship with Dr. Keating. We mostly did talk therapy that did not seem to mirror any specific therapeutic modality. Dr. Keating is the only doctor in 30 years who has taken the appropriate time to listen to my concerns and explain to me in a way I can understand what and the only time I have felt progress in my mental health from a medical standpoint. He will always return a phone message with a concern, usually the same day, even if it to just to let me know when he will have the appropriate time to fully address the concerns I have. Dr. Keating is hands down the best psychiatrist I have ever seen. I always felt so rushed and never listened to when seeing a psychiatrist. Dr. Keating is so caring and actually takes the time to get to know your struggles and history. He also has a background in talk therapy and it clearly shows. I feel that Dr. Keating fully understands what I am going through and uses his knowledge to best advise me on how to relieve my struggles. I honestly rave about him to everyone after each session. I could not recommend more highly.... read more
