About 20 years ago I was in a serious car accident, which resulted in significant nerve damage to my right eyelid. I was left with a "droopy" right eye lid, which impacted my line of vision. Thankfully I found Dr. Flora Levin in Westport in my search for an Oculoplastic surgeon. Oculoplastic surgeons are board-certified ophthalmologic surgeons that have completed years of additional fellowship training in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures on and around the eyes. I contacted Dr Levin’s office for treatment of the excess skin on my eyelids. At the consultation, she recommended eyelid surgery with local anesthesia with a conservative approach without removing too much skin since I am a male. Dr. Levin was serious, focused, dexterous, quick, and precise during my procedure, reflecting the confidence of having performed it numerous times. I was skeptical on getting any type of vanity reconstruction. When I finally decided to go for it, I did a lot of research on who would be the best. Dr. Levin is absolutely amazing! I am a young mom and wanted to do Botox. I was so nervous about it and didn’t want to look “fake”. She gave me “baby Botox” because she said I didn’t need a lot.
