Before even meeting me Dr. Su prescribed me Oxycarbazepine. One of the nurses informed me he prescribes this often and to almost every patient. I chose to deny the medication and to meet and speak with him first. When I questioned his use of the medication as well as prescribing something before even meeting me, he began to get loud with me. Awful doctor. labeled me as bipolar after only talking to me for about 2 minutes a day for 7 days while i was at OSF. prescribed me abilify at 500mg as a STARTING dose. lied about this medication being in my mychart when i never took it before. it seems he thinks all women are bipolar, which just isn’t true. not sure where he got his degree from. all in all you can tell he really hates his life and i truly think he’s in it for the money as he wears designer belts all the time and has no emotion, ever. wasted college degree, ... read more
just saw dr. su 5/29/25 at promise healthcare. i came in looking to get treatment to manage my bipolar as well as get tested for possible adhd. after questioning me he said that my issues with concentration/focus are attributed to not managing my bipolar well enough. he said that there is “no way i could have adhd and made the gpa i did in highschool”. i challenged his thinking and asked about how adhd can present differently in women- said i was “focusing on too much DEI”. not sure how factoring in my gender is focusing on ... read more
Do not see dr su avoid OSF. he improperly diagnosed me with bipolar after a five minute conversation and put me on 300mg of a medication that made me violently angry. Do not go here.
