I don't even know where to begin. If there was a way to give zero stars, I would. I went to Dr. Afshar yesterday (whom I've been seeing for the last couple of years) for extreme gum/tooth pain. It had gotten to the point where I had a gut feeling that something had to be wrong. i had an okay feeling about the appt as per the good ratings on zocdoc but unfortunately the experience left much to be desired. hygienist didnt seem to care she was hurting me while flossing violently, also i was encouraged to buy a wildly expensive dental care product. first visit was an hr and a half cleaning, set up another appt for another "deep cleaning" 3-4 wks after. on top of everything the doc mentioned me needing a root canal in one w the possibility of needing two she dug out two fillings siting decay, refilled o... read more
