I have been a patient of Dr. Salamat's for over 5 years and cannot praise her enough. Not only has she followed my sleep apnea closely, but during the Covid pandemic I reached out to her by email several times as I feared coming down with the virus and not having an MD. My experience with her was great about 8 years ago. She helped me rule out several concerns. She was knowledgeable and forthright with a warm demeanor. Then I had several annuals with her where she made unsolicited comments on my weight and diet, which was not a concern to my primary dr. and seemed to hyper-fixate. Been patient of Dr Rooney for many years. Called because was confused about info she gave me. Cannot get call back. Have called several times. No one at Valley seems to care about patients anymore.
