This doctor is cold and distant. I swear it’s like the first time we speak EVERY time. I have to remind her of what meds I am on. Isn’t that kind of your sole job as a psychiatrist?! Not like they ask anything to find out how you are actually doing. They say how are the meds working? I’ll prescribe again and take your money again in a month. BYE! Dr. Khan’s office staff is terrible, too! Always harassing me for my copay when I already sent it! Don’t waste your time here!
The biggest pro about being Dr. Khan’s patient is learning what makes a horrible psychiatrist. Doesn’t listen and thinks she knows best to the point of ignoring/talking over whatever you say. Spent a year trying to make it work but after spending 3ish months of not getting consistent appointments, therefore not consistently being on Lexapro (the antidepressant prescribed), I’m thoroughly disgusted with myself for thinking a POC doctor would be better than a white one (she’s unfortunately no different).
