My husband scheduled an appointment for a routine colonoscopy consultation in May 2023. During the consultation, Dr. Rowe recommended an abdominal scan, which he underwent after the appointment. However, due to the inclusion of this additional test, the office did not bill the insurance as a routine consultation. Without sending us a bill, they automatically charged his credit card (on file) $215. Best gastroenterologist in town! Dr Rowe found my cancerous polyp two years ago and has been checking me each year via colonoscopies. He is thorough, efficient and cares about his patients. I highly recommend him!!!
Dr. Rowe has been my doctor since I was hospitalized in September of 2017. I had been mis-diagnosed by my prior doctor's office (PA). Dr. Rowe is one of the last of a dying breed of doctor. He actually calls and does follow up himself. I have been able to see him when I need to, as he promised. Dr. Rowe is not receptive to patient's questions and concerns. He seems to lack empathy, having a considerable need to remain in control, rather than offer any genuine interest in the patient before him. His skills may be considerable. I was unable to discover them, however, due to the hostility I experienced in my initial appointment.
Biggest jerk I ever met. Also not truthful.
