I had a metal shard, with a ring of rust in my eye that happened on a late Saturday night. The next morning - it was clear this was an emergent issue. I first went to Urgent care in Battle ground, and the Dr. there phoned Dr. Olson, who was enjoying his summer Sunday. Dr. Olson phoned me within an hour, and opened up his office to treat my condition within 3 hours. He was also great at explaining the problem, and the procedure(s) he employed. Dr. Olson performed my cataract surgery. The outcome was better than I expected. He is a kind and knowledgeable Doctor. His staff is great! My surgery was very easy. I am 72 years old and I do not need to wear glasses for distance anymore. I believe Dr. Olson saved the vision in my right eye which had scar tissue. He is the best!
Great bedside manner. He explains things throughly and never makes you feel rushed.
Dr. Olson and his staff were amazing. They made me feel very comfortable every step of the way through my cataract surgery. I am seeing better than I ever have and I don't have to wear glasses anymore!

Dr. Olson is extremely competent, personable, and kind. He spent ample time explaining what was going on with my eyes due to chemotherapy, gave me effective care, and followed my progress diligently. I will be forever grateful for his kind, competent care during this journey with breast cancer.
