We truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Meeks. After my 17-year-old son suffered a serious knee injury and needed extensive surgery, we were given very little hope by other surgeons. From the very first visit, Dr. Meeks was different. He was confident, reassuring, and never once doubted my son’s ability to recover and return to the field. New patient here and everything went very well! From arrival to check-out all staff was very nice and welcoming! Dr. Meeks's nurse Lindsey was very personable! Dr. Meeks was super nice, explained everything thoroughly, highly recommend! Thank you!
Dr. Meeks and his nurse practitioner Andrew are excellent caregivers. If you are in the need of orthopedic surgery, I would highly recommend seeing this team. They are thoughtful, caring, and responsive to your needs. In response to the wait time, we never waited more than 20 minutes to see the doctor, x-ray technician, nurse practitioner. However, this is a very large medical practice and all medical practices have wait times on occasion. I scheduled my husband, who is wheelchair bound due to a debilitating stroke, for a ten am appointment with Dr Meeks. The first red flag was the warning at the sign in front desk that the doctor may be running behind. The x-ray tech gave the same warning, another red flag. Once ushered to an examining room a nurses aide waved the same red flag. We are now 2 1/2 hours in and are told it could be as much as another hour and a half! I made appointments to see Dr Meeks twice. The first time I waited in the patient room about 45 minutes to an hour before he came in. The second time I waited in the patient room about 30 minutes and Dr Meeks never showed up. I seen his nurse practitioner/assistant 45 minutes later. According to other reviews Dr Meeks is a good Doctor based on my experience I will never know. It appears to me he takes his patients for granted by making them wait so long. I will never go back.
