He did my cmc thumb joint replacement on both hands..I havr have advanced Rheumatoid arthritis in my hands. I'm glad i chose Dr.Gursel..His beside manor is awesome ..He treated me very well
Dr. Gursel did surgery on me, about a year & 1/2 ago. He didn't like to do follow up. I had a wound vac because he opened the site and never closed it again. He kept saying he was going to do a skin graft. (for 6 months) Then suddenly changed his mind. After 6 months of having the wound vac, he "dumped" me as a patient. I had to find a different Doctor to take me off the vac. Needless to say, the site is still not healed and he simply doesn't care.. He got his money and that's all that matters!
This goes all the way back to 2006 when a double mastectomy was performed on my Wife! What a Bad job he did with her breast reconstruction. It's been 10 years now and my poor Wife thinks about how lousy her breasts look! It drags her down mentally. I and her definetly would not recommend Dr. Gursel to anyone, Family or otherwise. Hand surgery? not breast reconstruction. I'm doing the writing today because she doesn't want to. For years now I'd see my Wife looking in mirror crying! Kenneth P.
