I hope dr sugarman will end up seeing this message! he recently left New York I was probably one of his last patients. This doctor was incredible from my first visit until after my surgery he was incredible he explained everything he was very helpful and he is a very special warm heart I very much love this man thank you Dr sugarman I'll keep you in mind while I'm skiing 😁⛷️🎗️
I came to him with severe shoulder and arm pain. He refused to write a script for an MRI and told me it was “menopause”! Appalling! Fast forward 5 months I fought to get an MRI with insurance and I have a torn rotator cuff and bicep! Do not see this arrogant incompetent doctor (especially if you are a woman).
I truly, truly regret trusting Dr. Sugarman. I wasted months in knee pain (healthy 39 year old male that could barely walk at times), while his solution was to “wait and do nothing”. He knew the duration of symptoms plus the increase in severity - and still wouldn’t do anything to fix it. More detail: I went to him for knee pain that had lasted for 6 months. My hero!!!! I had a very unique and uncommon case. Dr. Sugarman was the 7th orthopedist I saw about the pain I was experiencing with an unknown cause and the 1st not to recommend I just get injections and take pain killers. He spent soo much time with me critically thinking to determine what was wrong with me. My issue doesn’t get picked up on imaging reports.
