Dr Velasco has been my family doctor for many years. I can count on him to listen and steer me in the right direction
He actually listened and even though he had to refer me to a specialist since my issue was not his area of knowledge, he showed a caring spirit. I appreciated that.
After having been a loyal patient for almost 7 years this was my last time going to this doctor. I was requested to come in for a general check up which was scheduled 14 days out. I have to drive 49mins without traffic. Due to being stuck behind an accident on a freeway, I was 7 mins late to my appointment and was told to leave and reschedule. Wow! Way to treat your patients! Especially after coming from that far on his request.
Welcoming, and understanding of my concerns. Exhibited an attitude of genuine caring to me. Atmosphere surrounding my first visit was one of assurance that my health needs in the coming future will be accomodated.
Dr. Velasco listens to concerns, takes care of what needs to be done, and gets you out and on with your day. Excellent bedside manner.
