I really loved Dr. Yu and her staff at first. Dr. Yu was able to help me get pregnant when my husband and I were doubtful. We were paying cash at first and was in process of getting insurance when I became pregnant. I was told that I could not be seen again until I had insurance. One day I was spotting and thought I was having a miscarriage and was told by her nurse that since I did not have insurance yet that there was nothing they could do and I would have to wait it out. I've been a patient with Dr. Yu for 3 yrs now, i've never encountered a problem, she's great in her profession. I plan to have my ovaries removed soon, i feel very comfortable with her performing the surgery. Just because some physicans are quick to get you in and out of the office is not always the answer. I understand she has lots of patients, she has to give other patients her full attention, as i would like in return. She's a woman, just as we are. Dr. Yu did a great job delivering my nephew. My sister had a high risk pregnancy due to diabetes and Dr. Yu was very attentive and knowledgeable. I go to her for my annuals; when I decide to have children she will be my ob. She is late and you have to wait sometimes; but she is worth the wait.

I waited in a sheet for 3-4 hours while she was called out for delivery twice. I finally asked to be seen by an intern. Last month I decided to try for an annual (I had not been back since) and after 15 minutes they said she would be about 20 minutes late as she was called out to delivery.I knew better and cancelled the appointment. I now have a new gynocologist with a different hospital.

I'm a nurse and I expect superior service when I take time to see a physcian. This doc is everything and more. Kind ( great bed side manner ), knowledgeable, and will test if there is any concern with your health at all. She's great!

On average, I wait in the office for 2-4 hours which seems excessive. They fit a full day's worth of patients into a half-day on Thursday which just creates chaos. I told her that I had an outside ultrasound and showed her that it was a boy and within a couple of minutes she told me I was going to get the "big ultrasound" to determine the gender. I believe that I've been spoiled by my family doctor and expect a lot from my doctors. I am planning on leaving the practice within a month.

Fabulous doctor! She has been so understanding. She sits down and I have her full attention my whole visit. I have a 3 year old daughter (delivered in another hosipital with a different doctor) and my husband and I are trying to conceive again. She immediately checked my hormone levels and noticed my glucose level is out of whack and that is why I have not been able to get pregnant. I am now on medication to regulate my hormones, and we will reevaluate at the end of the month. Dr. Yu is is great!

I love her and she is the best! I personally have referred over 12 people to her! She is very patient to your problems and will always be there when you need her!!

dr yu is a wonderful dr i have used her with 2 of my deliveries (3rd on the way) and with all 3 pregnancies. i even recommended her to friends and family who have all had positive results. sometimes she is late but her job is an OB.. that should be expected! i had complications with both deliveries and her quick thinking prevented even more problems. i would fully recommend her!
