I had a miserable experience with Dr. Erin Allen. She has six rooms for her patients and she sees about 16 patients in a day. She rushed in and out of my room. I was not prepared for how serious and challenging this surgery would be. For a thumbnail sized melanoma-in-situ, I have a lumpy, red scar from the corner of my eye to my jaw that has not improved a great deal over several months. I feel confident that all cells that could become cancerous have been removed, but I will not go to this doctor again.
A simple mohs surgery turned into her mangling a nostril and smashing the ending of my nose so it's now bent and crooked. Now she's ignoring me. She runs around like a chicken with her head cut off - no disclosure of risk no time to ask questions. My sons cried when they saw what she did to my nose. I would recommend her for needlepoint and darning socks.
I can’t say enough good about Dr Erin Allen and her team. This was the 4th time I’ve had Mohs procedure, and this was by far the most pleasant. From the time you walk in the door, to the time you leave, you are treated as an individual. It’s great to not be treated like an asset of a company driven by stock holders.
