I had no complaints about Dr. Erin Bridgewaters; my disappointment is completely with the front office staff. We left home early for my 4-month-old baby’s 9:20 AM appointment, but due to an unexpected collision and heavy traffic we called ahead and explained that we would be only 3 minutes late. I also mentioned that my baby has a cold and that I had concerns to discuss, but there was no understanding or empathy and we were simply told to reschedule for next week. Dr. Bridgewater is fantastic, with out a doubt. This rating is for her staff, they are the most joyless people on the planet. Evidently these ladies skipped sensitivity train day. They are the most joyless individuals i’ve ever come across. Rude as hell, condescending and in general unpleasant to deal with. These are not the attributes you should encounter while going to a doctor’s office, where the stress levels are high enough. Walmart wouldn’t hire these ladies to stand and greet.
Dr. Bridgewater is intelligent, kind, personable and efficient. All 3 of my children have her as their primary and we have no complaints, We also have had the pleasure of seeing every other Dr. or PA etc in her office when illnesses or other needs have come up and Dr. Bridgewater wasn’t available. Everyone has been wonderful and have provided great care and explained things thoroughly. Wonderful Dr. office and experience all around!
Dr. Bridgewater is an awesome doctor. However, front desk needs more training and standardize the communication. One person says it requires same day appointment, we cannot book in advance and another day another person says it has to be future appointment, for the same reason. Also when asked why, their answer is "policy updated". Wow, policy was updated without informing patients.
Dr. Bridgewater is fantastic! She is wonderful with children, patient, understanding, and always listens to concerns and is a true advocate for her patients. I 100% trust her and her staff with the care of my children.
