I have had two surgeries with Dr. Marsh. A hip and knee replacements. Highly recommend him and all the staff at VOC.
I went in with my wife for a broken collar bone that was not healing. We were in with the good doctor all of five minutes. He told her he wouldn't operate on her if she didn't quit smoking. No checking on other underlying conditions .No compassion. at all. May be a competent surgeon , but people skills need work.
Dr marsh is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He's replaced both my hips in one case had to remove a rod from my femur before the hip it was a tricky surgery but he got it done he talks to the patients and makes them feel comfortable about surgery and he's staff follows suit. So dr marsh if your reading this I just want to say thank you for your stellar workmanship my family thanks you and staff "GO PATS GO"
I am so grateful to Dr. Marsh for answering my never ending questions about my upcoming knee replacement. A great deal of research revealed so many variables to consider and Dr. Marsh has had incredible patience while sharing his expertise with me. I am so grateful for Dr Marsh!! He gave me new knees when Ny surgeons wouldnt because I was 47 at the time, said I had to wait until I was 60. I was 52 when I found Dr Marsh, he told me that age shouldnt matter when there is no quality of life. He replaced the first knee in June and the other in July 2017. The whole experience was very easy, he was fantastic as was everyone else that I came in contact with at Rutland Orthopedic. My new knees are AWESOME!!!
