After enduring some unmanageable, pregnancy-related carpal tunnel symptoms, I needed to find some relief. Dr. Larson is a great Doctor!... honest from the get go and told me the positives and negatives of going through with my wrist surgery, that by nature was an optional procedure... sometimes I feel like Dr.'s are just telling you what they need to tell you to get a surgery under their belts and the $ that comes with it, but not with Dr. Larson... good guy and I highly recommend seeing him if you have an injury you feel he can help get better via a surgical procedure. I’ve seen a lot of doctors, and he is definitely one of the top ones I’ve encountered. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, shows you what he sees in imaging, and shares his rationale for each recommendation. He is kind, which unfortunately isn’t always the norm in medicine, and truly listens to your concerns without dismissing any symptoms. I highly recommend seeing him. Doctors like him are incredibly rare.
This review is long overdue! Dr. Larson was amazing in handling a surgical situation with my finger. I was seen quickly, and my procedure was scheduled just a couple days later. My finger has healed beautifully (no scar!). He and his team were kind, professional, and even made me laugh despite the situation - couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
I’ve had three surgeries before my recent one with Dr. Larson, and none of them come close to the level of care and expertise I experienced with him. From start to finish, my hand surgery went exceptionally well. Dr. Larson not only performed the procedure with great skill, but also took the time to understand and accommodate the fact that I’m a college athlete.
