Dr Eric Smith replaced both my knees this year. The second knee was 3 months ago. He was caring and a good listener despite the time restrictions insurance puts on doctors these days. Both knees have healed well, my energy is coming back and my flexibility is much better than before surgery. It was well worth the recovery which is hard for about a month and then gets easier.
Dr Eric Smith is the the reason why my life is so limited. He did not follow through like he should have when I first got the infection. Dr Smith has replaced both of my hips with fantastic outcomes. Both experiences exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. He uses the anterior (front) incision for the surgery which makes all the difference in recovery post surgery. The only pain meds I needed post surgery was Tylenol and muscle relaxers for some cramping. The whole experience with him and New England Baptist Hospital was outstanding.
