I have a friend dying from bone cancer, I just found out this evening. She was his patient. He gave her heavy pain meds. When the heavy pains meds didn't work he labeled her as a drug seeker and cold turkey'd those pain meds. He stopped seeing her because she was a bother. Nevermind the clear signs of onset dementia.
