After a bad experience with a bad Rheumatologist, Dr. Peters didn’t give up until he found which medication actually worked for my RA. He and his wonderful PA Dora have been in my life for several years. I am beyond grateful for how they have been great!
Great
Been with him over 15 years now and never felt rushed or unanswered. I like the people and practice over the years and recommend them to my peers.
After dealing with a really bad Rheumatologist, Dr. Peters was a breath of fresh air. He listens, to the patient and will give choices and let you make an informed decision. He has a quirky sense of humor which I love. He also is very well Informed about new medications, other treatments as well as trials. You won’t go wrong choosing him for help with RA/RD.
This is by far the worst doctor I have ever encountered. He didn't listen to a single one of my concerns and became visibly angry when I dared to ask a question about two drugs he wanted to put me on. His MA is terrified of him. He basically kicked me out of his office and said he never wanted to see me again. I was shaking. Never going back was the best thing I ever did. I was never treated in such a degrading way by any other doctor.
Dr Peters saved my life. He had me have an x-ray before I started Remicade (standard practice), but when the x-ray showed an abnormal area, he wasn’t sure just what it was. He insisted I go see a pulmonary doctor before he would start the infusions. I kept saying NO, but he insisted I go before starting the treatment. Well, good thing he was so stubborn about it as I had lung cancer. If he hadn’t been so concerned, I might likely have died. Now I listen and obey. He is kind and caring.
I've been going to Dr. Peters every three months for more than ten years. He has never, in all that time, rushed through an appointment or not listened to my concerns. I have several autoimmune disorders, including lupus, and I feel that with him as my dr., I'm in good hands.
I've been to a lot of doctors and he is the WORST I've ever seen! Rude, arrogant, doesn't listen. I was sent to him for long term inflammation off the charts and he said repeatedly it's because I'm fat. I wasn't even overweight for a bunch of the tests. He said he would test my blood and told the MA he didn't want see me again in front of me. They took 10 vials of blood but only tested 1 thing and never called me with results, had to get from lab. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!
Been with him for over ten years. I ask questions, he responds well. I would not hesitate to seek his advise and care.
