I’ve been seeing Dr Horst for many years and highly recommend him.
I have been to Mayo and John Hopkins for endocrinology issues and needed a local doctor for monitoring. Provided all the info to Horst, explained the issues and explained how the lab results may come back within range but my charts would show what the results should be. He claimed to understand and said we agreed we would set another appointment for follow up. I was careful to explain how serious this issue was. I wish there was a zero. Dr. Horst is the worst doctor I have ever seen. He watched my 7 thyroid nodules grow for 5 years without a biopsy. I was having difficulty breathing and swallowing for years due to the enlargement of my thyroid. When he finally biopsied, he only did 1 nodule. Thank heavens it came back suspicious, because it wasn't the nodule that had already reached stage 2 cancer. After my total thyroidectomy, he refused to send me for radiation. Office staff is rude and inconsiderate.. they just lost another patient.. the doctor might be good.. but I’ll never know dealing with this staff..
