So, I’ve been seeing a Periodontist for about 10 years, and in that time, I have never had as thorough and thoughtfully considered explanation about my oral health as the one that I received yesterday from Dr. Dale. In addition to his detailed explanation he also provided me with a top-notch cleaning and I left the office feeling like I’d received exceptional service. Run away screaming! Old-school periodontist. I asked Dale's staff, twice, to run a quote with my insurance on the proposed treatment, but they refused. They wouldn't bother because the insurance company would not guarantee. They should have, the way they designed the treatment ended up costing me double, and we could have avoided that. Dale's assistant had such long fingernails that the skin around my mouth was sore and had dark, crescent moon bruises for over a week post-surgery. Bad news.

We strive to make patients comfortable so I am sorry to hear you had an upset. If you would like to speak with me personally about any issues, I would be happy to do so. For dental insurance we always try to get an estimate prior to starting treatment. With medical they will not give us an estimate ahead of time due to many factors such as doing the care at a dental office vs. a hospital. Medical usually will not help, but as a courtesy we have tried to submit dental treatment to help.
