Negative review written by Charles P. Culkin. He's scum of the earth. Thinks he's the cats meow. He not the nice guy everyone thinks. Heavy drinker, cheated on his wife and out for himself. He's very narcisstic I've know him for a while. He will charm you but he's really not a good person. Get a good therapist Chuck! You got a lot of screws loose! Use your time on humbling yourself instead of being an arrogant pos and speaking trash of others.
An average GP. Don't let her draw your blood. Icing my arm as I write this review. Sadly, I will be seeking another primary care doctor. I used to see Dr. Hussny for many years and she was previously helpful in diagnosing a disc issue in my back and neck. Always spends thirty minutes with me and goes over any medical concerns in extreme details. Keeps me on track with my diet and keeping me healthy. Staff is always pleasant and welcoming.
When Dr. Hussny left Heritage Family Practice in Fairfax and set up her own practice in Gainesville, I weighed the inconvenience of that new location -- far from my home base -- and decided she was worth the trouble. But lately, even for the most minor aches or pains or medication decisions, I have been asked to come in for an office visit. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. H for over 5 years. She has taken the time to get to know us. She will see us if we both have the same ailment duing the same apt times so we do not have to schedule seperate times or days to come in and has helped us with referrals to specilist and getting in with them when she feels they are necessary. I have been going to Dr Hussny for almost 6 years now. It's been a mixed experience. One thing that has stood out for me is that she did appear hurried in most of our meetings- as if to appease the insurance gods! but took the time to sit with me to talk about a few personal things this last time- scoop- she is opening her own practice and is looking for new patients! She has amazing bedside manner and is usually right on with her diagnosis. She's very kind and easy to talk to about anything, which can be tricky being a doctor. I really enjoy having her as my PCP.
Dr. Hussny explained the medical jargon in plain english. She was knowledgeable and caring. She clearly knows her stuff and takes time to make sure the patient understands what is going on. She is not arrogant or stuck-up, nor is she condescending. She listens. It is a breath of fresh air to have a doc who is thorough, conscientious, and truly concerned about the well-being of her patients. I can't imagine having another family doc.
I suffered Sudden Hearing Loss when I woke up one morning. After 2 days I visited Dr. Hussney who put me on Clairitin D for a week and suggested I call back if it did not improve and she would expedite my prior appointment with an ENT which was a month and half later. I got back to the clinic after a week but it took me a couple of calls to the clinic to force them to get me an early appointment with an ENT. Dr. Hussney apparently did not assist in this process.
