I have gone to see Dr. Eiras since I found out I have Chronic Lyme Disease. I believe I first started seeing her in 1999. I love her! She is a very caring doctor and spends a lot of time with you. Sometimes you have to wait a while for your appointment. I believe this is because she spends a lot of time with each patient so I wait. I would rather go to a doctor who addresses your issues than is so worried about keeping the appointment schedule. I moved to Va. in 2004 but I still go to see her several times a year. There are ... read more

Would never see this Dr. Building is in need of repair & unkempt, inside has a foul smell, sign on the outside, business cards, letterhead all still have her died husband’s name. 2x's (I never returned after 2X) waited over 1.5 hrs while she entertained drug reps rather than keep her appointments on schedule. In the examroom (pictures of died husband all over) 1 hr later she came in. While examining me she was interrupted several x's including someone taking her lunch order, used Kinesiology (muscle strength) to pick ABX,thi... read more

She was very cold to me during my first visit. I only weighed 89lbs, and she thought i had parasites. I asked for a thyroid panel, begged really. I told her i couldnt take suppliments and she proved this with muscle testing. By the third appt she had it with me, and I with her. I couldnt take her suppliments, so she couldnt get my money that way, she thought I had HIV, even though i tested neg. She walked out of the room last appt and never said goodbye or nothing. She did find my low thyroid, but only because i begged to be... read more

I had my first visit with her this week and I thought she was great. She was very knowledgable in Lyme. She seemed like a wonderful caring Dr. She treats with supplements and with prescription medicines. Which I think is wonderful. Im so glad I made an appointment with her. I did have to wait over an hour to see her. That was the only downfall

LYME DISEASE SUFFERERS BEWARE!! After waiting over 1.5 hours in her waiting room, here is what you'll get. This was the most disturbing bit of charlatan nonsense I have ever personally witnessed. This nutcase presented me with a little plastic bin filled with different medications and "herbs".She asked me to hold the bottled medication in my hand as tightly as possible. The next step was for her to tug the bottle out of my hand (she did this with 2 or 3 different plastic bottles of medicine). This, she said, AND I QUOTE "will... read more

I find Dr. Eiras to be very caring and knowledgable about Lyme disease. After waiting more than an hour the first two times I saw Dr.Eiras I now make my appointments first thing in the morning.

A nice woman but if you have Lyme you don't want to mess around. There are better doctors around. I saw Dr. Eiras for about 6 months but now go to Lesley Fein in West Caldwell and there's a world of difference between the two.

Dr. Eiras does not take insurance, and always has a long (1-2 hour) wait time, but she is an excellent doctor if you have lyme disease. While she's a general internist, she now specializes in lyme and is willing to try "whatever works," often trying new supplements and natural remedies on herself first. If you have other issues, however, you may want to see someone else in addition. For lyme, she can't be beat.
