I have an amazing midwife and when my care transferred to Dr Knoedler because of potential need of an emergency c-section, she dismissed my concerns, talked to staff as if I wasn’t in the room. He is very professional. He truly listens to make sure you fully understand everything and are fully informed to make the best decisions regarding your health. He always ask if you have any questions and answers all of them very clearly. He is mature yet light hearted, empathetic, compassionate and when applicable always trusts that you know your body and what's abnormal for you specifically. Changes medication with out knowing patients history.
She may not have the best 'bedside manner' as it were, but I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that Dr. McCarthy has my best interests at heart! She is a no nonsense, 'by the book' doctor. If you're looking for a nurse maid who will hold your hand, she is not your doc. If you want someone who is seriously concerned about your health, will go the extra mile to figure out what's going on with you, and stick with you for the long run, then yes. Straight answers. Came in with severe pain, and she immediately helped to diagnose it, and helped me set up a plan. I've gone to her for twenty years, and she is always helpful.
A very caring Dr. Listens, asks questions, non judgementsl very amenable.
Dr. Koldoba is one of the best physicians I've ever had. She takes the time to REALLY listen and then asks as many questions of you as are necessary to be sure she has heard what you are saying. I kind of defaulted to her a number of years ago after three previous doctors had left the clinic for various reasons. By no means am I glad they left, but had they not, I would not have wended up with her.
We began seeing Dr. Kumar when my daughters were still in grade school. That was 20+ years ago and both my daughters have grown up and moved out of state. Dr. Kumar was knowledgeable, thorough and also very personable with all of us. As a senior citizen I continue to see Dr. Kumar and am extremely pleased, and enthusiastically recommend her!
My encounter with her was actually shocking. She didn't introduce herself when she entered the room. Wouldn't look at me. Asked me questions and then cut me off when I tried to answer. Extremely condescending. I almost thought I was being punked. Worst encounter I have ever had with any physician. I see other reviews giving glowing feedback which I absolutely do not understand. She must be a different person in different settings. I couldn't wait to leave and would never see her again.
